Clare McAvoy and Rachel McCoey form the core team behind Clare’s Star Talent, bringing together extensive experience in teaching, performance, and casting.
Clare leads the agency with a strong background in drama education and industry connections, while Rachel supports the casting process with her professional acting experience and deep understanding of young performers.
Together, they work closely with families to guide children through each stage of their journey, creating a supportive, well-structured environment where emerging talent can grow, gain confidence, and access real opportunities in Film and TV.

Casting Director
Clare is the Founder and Lead Casting Agent of Clare’s Star Talent, established after the success of Mourne Stars Speech, Drama & Performing Arts. With over 18 years’ experience in education and performance, she combines industry knowledge with a passion for supporting young actors.Since 2022, Clare has created professional screen opportunities for her pupils, including nine young performers cast in a major EWTN film, with many now working in Film and TV.
A Spotlight-listed agent and member of AYPA, Clare maintains the highest industry standards. She has trained with leading professionals and works closely with organisations such as NI Screen. Her approach focuses on confidence, creativity, and care, ensuring every child is fully supported to succeed.

Rachel is an experienced actor and dedicated teacher, and a key member of Clare’s Star Talent. Well known through her work with Mourne Stars Speech, Drama & Performing Arts, she brings strong industry insight and a natural ability to connect with young performers.Highly organised and perceptive, Rachel plays an important role in guiding families and supporting children through the casting process. Her experience and nurturing approach help identify talent and create exciting opportunities for young actors.
